The Screamin' Seagulls were formed in 2018. Neville's aim in rehearsals is is fun and focus! And boy do we have a laugh!!! Sometimes its a wonder we get any singing done at all!

At the Seagulls heart is community. We love to sing all styles of music from classical to pop. There is no need to read music as many of the choir don't, some having never been in a choir before! This didn't stop us winning all our accolades!  Neville makes sure each and every one of us is looked after, everyone is very welcoming and there is a real sense of family in our Seagulls "nest".

Through our history, we have achieved a great deal. We are a multi-award winning ensemble, winning best choir at the Suffolk Festival of Performing arts 2025. In 2020, having only performed once before as an ensemble, at the Gorleston music festival, we won the categories; gospel, classical and best choir on top of that!! This was a truly amazing accomplishment. immediate;y after lock down hit, BUT! We already had such a bond we stayed together, zooming each Monday and meeting for socially distant sing-a-longs in Normanston Park; and of course, to just have a natter!

Since then we have performed in our annual Christmas concert, Armed forces day, Pride. On a major stage, dressed as nuns... of course ;) Recorded our very own album!  and much much mor. Gaining a brilliant following, leading to our many sold out concerts!
